The Road Safety Week was observed in the school to focus attention on the importance of observing traffic rules in order to prevent accidents on the roads which take away thousands of precious lives every year across India. Scouts & Guides team of our school organized an event on 17th July’18 on Road Safety. Children presented song, dance and displayed safety rules to draw attention towards the Road Safety. The program was graced by the Chief Guest Mr. Vivekanad Thakur (Traffic D.S.P & Nodal Officer Road Safety). The other dignitaries present were the Guest of Honor Mr. Naresh Kumar (D.O.C Bharat Scouts & Guides), Director Dr. Srikant Nair & Dr. Rachna Nair & Principal Mrs. Harwinder Kaur. During the event information about the SMARTHAK club was shared with all. The main objective behind the formation of the club is to ensure that all the school drivers follow Road Safety rules. Emphasis was laid on using helmets, seat belts, etc. Scouts & Guides helped us to make this event a great success.
